A new fact I learned in the article "Zimmerman Telegram" is that, "In an effort to protect their intelligence from detection and to capitalize on growing anti-German sentiment in the United States, the British waited until February 24 to present the telegram to Woodrow Wilson."

I learned that the telegram was intercepted in January of 1917 by the British sent from the Germans. The British didnt tell the US until February 24th.
