April 25-29, 2016
Chapter 16 in your textbook discusses the United States during the Reconstruction Era, which is the time after the Civil War. Americans worked to find the best way to restore the union and rebuild the nation. We will work in cooperative groups to study and present the information from Chapter 16. For this project, each class will be broken into groups and assigned one section in Chapter 16.
The following list of tasks must be completed by the end of this week, in order:
1. Break into groups and be assigned a section (all done by Miss Lilek).
2. Read and take notes on your section.
3. Edit notes with your group including highlighting the items your group thinks is most important.
4. Create a GoogleSlides presentation of your section with your group.

- Each student in the group must read the section and take notes in his/her notebook. This RATN will be part of your grade for the project.
- Notes must include detailed descriptions including all vocabulary terms and bolded or colored text.

- Information may only come from your textbook and your notes. Not outside, web-based, sources are allowed. You are to be working in GoogleSlides during class each day this week.
- It is acceptable to look online for pictures and YouTube videos to enhance the presentation.
- Please provide a “citation” page at the end of the presentation, on which you include a URL for any picture you used and a proper citation for any YouTube video you used.
- Presentations that do not follow the citation procedure explained in the last bullet will be downgraded.
